schoolmates Burial (Will Bevan) and Four Tet (Kieran Hebden) return with a fresh collaboration to follow up their 2009 release Moth / Wolf Cub, this time adding Thom Yorke to the roster. similar to their previous 12", their unique production styles combine to produce sounds that capture an atmosphere that's both mechanical and ominous while offering traces of organic instrumentation that creep in like grass through cracked pavement. on this release, Thom Yorke's trademark paranoid crooning adds another layer of complexity and texture. at times a focal point, and at others a haunting soundscape, his voice creates another dimension to the world Bevan and Hebden created.
